I got this off a bulletin post on Myspace but I really needed to read it. I figured others might too.

DONT SETTLE FOR LESS!!!!

-If you have to be the aggressor, if you have to pursue, if you have to do the asking out, nine times out of ten, he's just not that into you.

-An excuse is a polite rejection. Men are not afraid of "ruining the friendship".

-Men don't forget how much they like you. So put down the phone.

-What you should see is you being treated so well that no phone antics will be necessary. You'll be too busy being adored.

-If he's not calling you, it's because you are not on his mind.

-Don't be with someone who doesn't do what they say they're going to do.

-If he's choosing not to make a simple effort that would put you at ease and bring harmony to a recurring fight, then he doesn't respect your feelings and needs.

-"Busy" is another word for "asshole". "Asshole" is another word for the guy you're dating.

-You deserve a fucking phone call.

-Better than nothing is not good enough for you.

-There's a guy out there who will want to tell everyone that he's your boyfriend. Quit goofing around and go find him.

-Your lost self-esteem may take longer to find than a new boyfriend, so prioritize accordingly.

-He's just not that into you if he's having sex with someone else.

-If you are in a mutually established monogamous relationship, then when someone cheats on you, they have decided to blatantly disrespect a very important decision you two made together. They've chosen to do this without your knowledge, thereby adding lies and secrecy to your relationship.

-Your only responsibility in someone else's lapse in judgement is to yourself.

-Ladies, don't let your desire to be loved and feel affection cloud your judgement.

-If he wants to see you, talk to you, have sex with you, etc., when he's inebriated, it ain't love- it's sport.

-Don't spend your time on and give your heart to any guy who makes you wonder about anything related to his feelings for you.

-If you don't feel like you're rushing, why are you waiting?

-Breaking up means not seeing them again. It may be tempting to forget this pearl of wisdom, but just remember, it's still called breakup sex.

-Cut him off. Let him miss you.

-There's no mystery- he's gone and he wasn't good enough for you.

-Unless he's all yours, he's still hers.

-Life is hard enough as it is without choosing someone difficult to share it with.
